F.A.Q

1. How long have you been doing photography?

I have been doing wedding photography for more than 6 years. Over this time, I have done over 100 reportage wedding photography projects. I have worked in many locations in Poland and Europe.

2. What equipment do you use?

I use professional, full-frame NIKON cameras. In addition to the body, I use prime lenses with very large aperture. They ensure top quality of photos and allow me to work in demanding light conditions. Ultimately, with these lenses, I am able to take astonishing photos. I use two cameras in each project — this ensures safety of the project in case one of the cameras fails. I try to take as many photos as possible in existing light, without using flash. Such photos are natural, without the diffusing effects of the flashes, and the subtle play of lights is fully captured in the images.

3. What is the best time to book a date to use your offer?

As early as possible. If you plan your wedding for the high wedding season — between May and October — you should book a date as early as one year before the ceremony, although I know some couples who did this even earlier than that :-) Feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone. I will see if I am available on the date you want and send you my wedding photography offer.

4. Could you tell us about the contract and payment terms?

The date is booked as soon as the contract is signed and the advance payment is made. The amount of advance payment is always determined on an individual basis, but it will never be more than 20% of the contract value. The contract can be signed during our meeting, but we can of course settle this via e-mail. The outstanding amount will be paid as soon as the photos are delivered.

5. Where do you shoot?

I live in Wrocław, and I shoot all over Poland and Europe. I often shoot in the south of Europe, Greece, and Spain. If you want your wedding to take place on one of the Greek islands, or dream about an open-air session in sunny Spain, or romantic Venice, please drop me a line:-) I always make travel arrangements with each couple on an individual basis.

6. How do you work during the wedding and the open-air session?

I love the natural style, so I do my best not to interfere with the course of events during the wedding ceremony and reception. Of course, you can always count on my help and advice. During an open-air session, I will help you choose the shooting location, and, if necessary, take the right pose.

7. How long do we have to wait for the wedding photos?

The contract provides for a 90-day delivery period for the photos. This is of course the contractual term. I always do my best to deliver finished photos as soon as possible, so, most of the time, the photos are delivered sooner than that.

8. How many photos do we get and in what form?

Depending on the package you choose, you will get between 150 and 300 finest, carefully selected, and originally retouched photos from the entire reportage wedding photography project. You will get the finished pictures in a digital version — in the .jpg format, on a DVD with a custom-made label. The photos are available in two resolution options: large — which you can easily use and print in any format, and small — which you can send by e-mail or share online.

9. Can we order an album or photo-books?

Yes, my offer includes beautiful traditional albums and photo-books designed by myself. I design each photo-book by myself in collaboration with the clients in order to recreate the unique atmosphere of the wedding.
